Richard Sayer Photography is currently located in the Meadville Tribune's second building with its entrance on Clinton Court around the corner from the Tribune's main entrance at 947 Federal Court. There are about 5 parking spaces near the door on Clinton Court or you can park in the Tribune's main lot where the entrance is off Arch Street. There are several metered spots and after 5 p.m. the reserved spaces around all open up.
Here is a step by step way to find Richard Sayer Photography.
First, Are you here on Earth? if so, in the scheme of the entire universe, you're close! We're neighbors! On this little ball spinning around the sun is where Richard Sayer Photography is located! Pretty cool huh?

If you live in the U.S. Then my you're really close. We're countrymen and/or women.(and/or dogs)
If you are in Pennsylvania then we might be wearing the same NLF football team logo on our hats(though I did grow up in New England--don't hate me!) And, if so, you might not need to book a hotel room to have me take your picture--though Philly is about 5 hours away. We are Pennsylvanians.
If you live in Crawford County then we're probably complaining about the same political office holders and eating at the same fast food joints, and we probably know that there is a place where the ducks walk on the backs of fish all vying for pieces of bread. And you're really really close. We are Crawford Countians.
And if you live in Meadville then you probably know that one guy who walks around the streets talking to himself and sometimes breaking into song. I'm telling you from hare you are only a shout away! We are Meadvillians.
And if recognize any of these streets then chances are you've been by the studio at some point and time. And if you've ever gotten your Pizza Villa pie at the drive up window (and didn't decide to back up onto S. Main Street afterwards (causing honks from drivers and possibly a hand gesture exclaiming emphatically that you are number 1 even the the driver doesn't know which is the proper finger to use for this exclamation) then you likely drove past my door and didn't even know it.
So once you're close you can find me by following this close up map below--the blue areas are places you can park and the star is roughly where the doors are in the alley(In the alley sounds shady, but I assure your its a cool little studio!)
If you're someone that needs to see what stuff looks like here are visual things to look for (note however the red arrows were put on the photos in photoshop--they do not exist in reality.). If you're looking at this front door you are super-close--just down around the corner to the left. (If the building looks like this to you when you're in your car (since it was taken with a fisheye lens) then you probably are over-medicated that day and should park where you are and not go further!)
If you passed the entrance of the Tribune there is a stop sign(again fisheye lens and words not really there--except for STOP!). Stop at that sign(it's the law!) and look diagonal to the left for a small parking lot with signs like this one on the right. You can park there! I pay rent, you are allowed! (Some of the words in this picture are real. The van may or may not be there!)
Once parked you can then then look up the alley (you'll be facing East for my sense of direction folks!). Go under the walkway and look for doors to the right up a short set of 'rustic' steps (rustic is my way of saying they might not look altogether safe, but trust me they are sound!).
One red and one grey(although this might change, I'm thinking yellow!) Yes your eyes are not playing tricks on you, there are no handles. Just knock and I'll let you in as long as I know you're coming (and I don't owe you money). Either door is fine, they both lead to the same place, the gray one is the one that I'll open(Its also the one I'm thinking of painting yellow!--and i might paint the railing blue in honor of the Bauhaus Architecture movement.)
And this part is a little confusing, there is a sign on the door that says SayerMotter Photography. I still share the studio with my great friend and former business partner Harmony Motter and we just haven't bothered to buy new signs. The number is still Harmony's, my number is 814-573-2100. I altered the one below for posting purposes!
If you still can't find me then just call 573-2100 and I'll come out and find you wandering around the streets of Meadville, I'll be the guy with the camera and a look on his face like, why did i spend all that time putting directions on my website when all anyone has to call!
Hope you find it!
